Open Ear Music:
- makes music - for people, with people and inspired by people;
- works in concert halls, theatres, galleries, recording studios,
media and virtual spaces, unusual sites, classrooms, boardrooms…
- engages with musicians from all cultures and uses all media –
live interaction, digital recording, music scores, graphics, voice;
- develops and encourages creativity for people who work in places
where innovation and originality are important;
- trains musicians who need to (re-)discover their creative roots;
- helps develop sensitivity to the sonic environment at work, travel,
leisure, home;
- observes and evaluates music or other art making projects and provides
insights for organisers, funders, participants, artists, teachers;
- uses music hands-on and as a metaphor to develop team building,
leadership and high performance aspirations.
